Nature's CornerNature's Corner is a seasonal diary about the Sanctuary's flora and fauna, and is written and illustrated by Sanctuary volunteers. Latest Nature's CornerNote that there are many micro-climates in the valley, lying as it does in a generally north and south line and its topography, being long, narrow, and deep. Often plants and trees in one part of the valley have begun to seed while the same species in other parts of the Sanctuary are flowering or coming into flower. Historically plants and flowers in the valley have tended to flower and fruit later than those in other parts of Wellington. Handy hint: use the "Print Friendly" option at the bottom of each page to print out a copy of the latest Nature's Corner for your next visit to the Sanctuary. Nature's Corner Archives200820072006
