Contact Energy Customers Enjoy a Wild Night of Music at the Sanctuary

More than 550 people attended the Contact Energy Customer Evening at the Sanctuary on Saturday 27 November 2004.

Contact Energy sponsor the Wilderness Trail at the Sanctuary and as part of their sponsorship they invited some of their customers to attend a magical evening of entertainment at the Sanctuary. Contact Energy customers responded overwhelmingly to the invitation.

During the evening families were entertained by The Wardens Jazz Band and Wellington Sinfonia String Quartet.

Even the kaka, saddleback and tui seemed to enjoy the foreign sounds as they swooped overhead unperturbed by new dusk chorus.

	Vistors view educational weed displays

On your next visit to the Sanctuary look out for the weed garden display and signage located just before Tui Terrace. The purpose of the display is to outline the impacts that weeds have on the environment and how you can take control of weeds that may be present in your own backyard.
