Become a volunteer host at ZEALANDIA
We are looking for outgoing, energetic and reliable volunteers to help in our new visitor complex opening in early April. Our next training round is scheduled for late March.
As a volunteer host you will often be the first and last person our visitors meet. The main purpose of this role is to provide a warm welcome to visitors & provide what they need to have a memorable experience of our unique eco tourism attraction.
If you enjoy meeting new people, have a real interest in conservation and can commit to at least one full day or two half-days a month, this could be the perfect volunteer role for you.
Our next training session is scheduled for late March in preparation for the grand opening. We would love you to be a part of our team!
Why do we have hosts?
During weekends, holidays and event days ZEALANDIA gets very busy. Volunteer hosts play an important role in supporting our retail staff and making sure our visitors have a world-class experience at ZEALANDIA from the very second the step through the door.
Is this role for me?
If you enjoy meeting new people, have an interest in conservation and can demonstrate good customer service skills, this could be the perfect volunteer role for you! We are particularly interested in hearing from people with previous customer service experience and those who are available to work weekend, public holidays and school holidays.
Minimum requirements
Because of the training provided, you will need to commit to at least one full day or two half-days a month.
